Guns With History

It’s a 22-caliber, six-inch revolver,” the store clerk spiels. “It’s also a gun that a five-year-old found in his parents’ bedroom, went down and shot his nine-month-old baby brother with it.” That's the kind of sales pitch you'll never hear at a gun store but this powerful vid by States United To Prevent Gun Violence was created to prevent people from purchasing a gun under the false pretense it will make them feel 'safer'.

As part of the group’s “#GunsWithHistory” campaign, customers were notified that they were part of a social experiment, and hidden cameras filmed their reactions when told of the history of each gun they were thinking of buying. - nyagv
