This one touch air capsule product lets you inflate your bicycle wheels at a push of a button, yes, it's that simple, and of course, it's refillable! This Israeli Kickstarter-funded company's original pledge of $37,000 goal is already surpassed at $50,626, with 9 days left to go!...

Israeli police arrested a woman suspected of setting a pump on fire at petrol station in Jerusalem on Tuesday April 28. In CCTV footage obtained by the Israel police, a woman in her mid-30's is seen approaching a man at a petrol station and then turns away. She is then documented turning back, pulling a lighter from her pocket and igniting the petrol pump. - telegraph

Violinist undergoes DBS

The title doesn't say enough about this viral vid from Tel Aviv, Israel of a woman playing a violin while having brain surgery!!

Naomi Elishuv was a violinist in the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra. Twenty years ago, she was diagnosed with essential tremor and was forced to stop playing. On Tuesday, September 9th, 2014, Elishuv was operated on at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center by Prof. Itzhak Fried head of functional neurosurgery unit and Dr. Ido Strauss staff neurosurgeon at the Neurosurgery department, to suppress her tremor symptoms, and while the surgery was being performed, she returned to playing the violin without disturbance. “It’s a shame that I only heard about the surgery recently. I am now finally returning to life,” Elishuv says.

Rube Goldberg Machine - Technion Israel - Hanukkah 101

Wow! Now THAT's how you light a Chanukah Menorah!  Way to go Technion!  That donut sure looks good! Lol.









Technion students Eyal Cohen and Tomer Wassermann from the Mechanical Engineering faculty and Matan Orian and Dvir Dukhan of Industrial Engineering and Management take on the challenge to build a Rube Goldberg machine that lights the Chanukah menorah. Hanukkah is the holiday of miracles and here is another one.

Eyal Cohen and Matan Orian are winners of the annual Technion Dr. Bob's TechnoBrain competition, supported by Dr. Robert Shillman in memory of Technion student Neev-Ya Durban.

The film was made in the Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Robotics Laboratory in the William Davidson Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management.
