There's a Bit of England in New York, Literally
Tom Scott is back with some more interesting tidbits. Over at Waterside Plaza in Manhattan, New York City, there's a part of Bristol, a port town in England, which literally makes up the foundation of a development near the East River...

The Man Who Set Up His Own Toll Road, Without Permission
After having enough with a 14-mile diversion caused by a landslip, businessman Mike Watts took a $539,000 risk and decided to set up his own private toll road as explained in this viral vid by Tom Scott. The zoning board initially had legitimate concerns but in the end they've decided the benefits outweighed the risks and they let Mike continue on with the toll road.
After watching this vid, we've also learnt how the 'zoning laws' in the UK are quite different from ours in the North...
