We love vids like these! Check out this vid about the Lampsilis mussels. The youngs of these mussels must go through a parasitic stage before continuing on in life. They have to attach themselves to the gills of fish, in this case a Bass, in order to suck the fish's blood before later dropping off and resuming their lives on the bottom of the stream. But how can an adult mussel get its young into a fish's gill if they can't move? They mimic one of the Bass's favourite fish, that's how! A fish that the mussels themselves have never seen considering mussels are blind! Nature. Fascinating...

Gas Station Surveillance Camera Captures Direct Hit From a Tornado - Colfax, Wisconsin

Whoa! Good capture at this gas station of a direct hit from a tornado...

A gas station in Colfax, Wisconsin took a direct hit from an EF-1 tornado last Friday, and the dramatic event was caught on video by a surveillance camera directly in the path of the twister. The camera shows wind and rain steadily picking up through the video, and a large pickup truck makes a quick u-turn just as debris comes into the picture — a smart move that probably saved them from injury given the size of the debris that took their place shortly thereafter.

Footage form security camera in back of church overlooking playground. Camera mounted on a steel beam under the 3 foot over-hang of the church. Please note on change of color. The storm darkened the area enough that it caused the camera to change to infrared mode. The people in the cars are not idiots. The tornado was rain-wrapped and the huge trees hid its approach.    

Walkin' in the Wind: People blown over in streets as Storm Ivar hits Norway

Lol.  That was some serious wind-blowing going on over there in Norway...








People christmas shopping in downtown Aalesund had troubles crossing the street today. The storm "Ivar" was blowing things and people around and police had to assist people in moving around.

One man blew off the sidewalk and into the street in an intersection downtown Aalesund earlier. An ambulance was required and the police is now present in the streets, to follow the development and help out where needed.

The storm is continuing towards Trondelag where 20 000 people now have lost power, and buses and boats are suspended. The police are also urging people to stay away from the downtown area in Trondheim.

5/27/2013 TIV2 (Tornado Intercept Vehicle) Is Hit By WEDGE Tornado in Kansas

Never heard of such a vehicle - Tornado Intercept Vehicle.... till now.










Brandon Ivey and Sean Casey got inside of a violent wedge tornado today. Brandon shot this insane footage of the TIV2 (tornado intercept vehicle) inside of a violent wedge tornado northeast of Smith Center, Kansas over eastern Smith County.

Wind speeds were 150 to 175 EF3 to EF4 before the tornado ripped the instruments off the top of the TIV.

The birth of the May 20, 2013 tornado at Newcastle, OK. It Moved from there to Moore where it turned into an F4 correction an EF5. God be with its victims.

Whoa!  We're just sweatin' looking at this viral vid, lol.








The Most Incredible Volcano Video ever shot ! Geoff Mackley, Bradley Ambrose, Nathan Berg, after an epic struggle with the weather for 35 days, we became the first people ever to get this close to Marum Volcano's famed lava lake on Ambrym Island, Vanuatu. Coming within 30 metres of the lava lake down a watercourse, it was possible to stand the heat for only 6 seconds. With Fire Brigade breathing apparatus and heat proof proximity suit it was possible to stand on the very edge and view the incredible show for over 40 minutes.

For those of you "upset" with the use of a watermark on this video it may pay to consider for a moment that my expeditions are funded by the sale of such footage.
This expedition took nearly 2 months and cost many tens of thousands of dollars, not to mention the dangers involved.
As has been seen time and time again, there are many media organizations out there who think nothing of downloading peoples footage, re uploading to their own websites with adverts etc while others pay for the legitimate use of it. Its straight out theft.
Thanks to the viewers who understand why I have to deface such a good video with a watermark.
