Saving a squirrel from flooding in Fenton, Missouri

This squirrel didn't seem to need saving but holy smokes!, those waters looked pretty deep. Did you see the roof of that building over yonder. That's just it - it's all you CAN see. Wow...

Surveying flooding in Fenton MO on 12-30-15 where the Meramec river is at a historic all time high crest near 44ft. I saw this little guy jump and try to swim for a bigger tree for safety but the current was just too strong.

Severe flooding hits eastern Japan

Residents were left stranded on rooftops and Japanese military helicopters had to rescue dozens and had a hard time keeping up with the demands...

Just after midnight early Thursday (Japan time), the Japan Meteorological Agency issued an emergency warning for heavy rainfall in Tochigi Prefecture, north of Tokyo, where more than 20 inches of rain fell in 24 hours in some locations.
