Saving a squirrel from flooding in Fenton, Missouri

This squirrel didn't seem to need saving but holy smokes!, those waters looked pretty deep. Did you see the roof of that building over yonder. That's just it - it's all you CAN see. Wow...

Surveying flooding in Fenton MO on 12-30-15 where the Meramec river is at a historic all time high crest near 44ft. I saw this little guy jump and try to swim for a bigger tree for safety but the current was just too strong.

Aerial Footage: Flood waters wreak havoc in York, England

Nothing speaks volumes of a disaster like an aerial footage - especially when it comes to a major flooding like this one in Northern England. Is that water being pumped out through holes from that LOWTHER building at around 0:40 secs into the vid?...



Major English cities including York, Leeds and Manchester have been hit by severe flooding across a wide area. British Prime Minister David Cameron has announced he will see the devastation firsthand, caused by weeks of heavy rains and swollen rivers in northern England.

Severe flooding hits eastern Japan

Japan was experiencing its share of floods and lots of scary footages were coming out of houses being washed away as heavy rains hit them for a second day in a row from tropical storm Etau. Residents were left stranded on rooftops and Japanese military helicopters had to rescue dozens and had a hard time keeping up with the demands...


Just after midnight early Thursday (Japan time), the Japan Meteorological Agency issued an emergency warning for heavy rainfall in Tochigi Prefecture, north of Tokyo, where more than 20 inches of rain fell in 24 hours in some locations. (Japan is 13 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern Daylight Time.) - weather.com
