An eagle, a fox and my cat all getting along fine on my porch

Meanwhile in Alaska... An eagle, a fox and a cat are all getting along. Look at them all, lol. This old classic vid from 2012 has been viewed over 8M times. They were all hanging out on a lady's porch somewhere in Alaska...

See how the fox, eagle and cat are all just fine hanging out and no one is trying to attack anyone and they are getting along just fine? Notice the eagle in the background on the lamp post down by the street. That is the partner to this eagle. They aren't always out to attack and kill each other. Our fox and eagles and cats basically get along just fine here. Sometimes if there is food they might fight over the food some. I live in Unalaska, Alaska in the Aleutian Islands.

The eagle is fine but we can't say the same about the drone. Better not mess with an eagle especially when it comes to flying drones. This one aimed right for the drone and knocked it right out of the sky. Now that's one badass eagle...

Do not fly drones near birds of prey, they clearly attack seeing you as a threat or the right sized dinner. This will cost you money and potentially harm to the bird. This one was fine.. the drone needed some attention before it could fly again.

If you see a bird of prey while flying. Land. I have added this to my operating procedure.

Only in Canada? Eagle tries out for Soccer

Somewhere, last week in North Vancouver, an eagle stopped by to tryout for soccer practice but in the end, he didn't quite make the grade. The North Shore Football Club president, Stuart Ince, was able to capture two-and-a-half minutes of this awesomeness on his phone...

“It was probably one of the most incredible things that I’ve ever seen. Just to be able to be that close..." states Ince. Then he went on to say:

“Just so you know, we actually failed it. It didn’t make the tryout. It was good in the air but it didn’t really have the ball skills we were looking for. It hung onto the ball too long.”
