Disabled Porcupine Saved From Death With Homemade Wheelchair

It's just a short viral vid, from Brazil, which is under a minute but that's long enough for your heart to melt when you see this poor little thing moving around in his newly created wheelchair, crafted out of plastic plumbing pipes. The porcupine is healthy but the possibility of euthanasia was considered since it was unable to walk around. That's when Jhesebel Santana, a 22-year-old intern suggested the wheelchair construction. It cost less than $5 to make. This is nothing new of course. Owners have been known to rig up wheelchairs for their disabled animals for a long time. Remember that famous pig, Chris P Bacon, (get it ;)? He was one of the more famous ones. We've searched for more animals in wheelchair so check out the playlist below after viewing Wheely Happy Hedgehog... A veterinary intern at Piracicaba Municipal Zoo, Sao Paolo in Brazil, has saved the life of a hedgehog by constructing a homemade wheelchair for the animal.
