御嶽山が噴火 - (ONTAKE-SAN eruptions)

Over the weekend on Sept. 27, Mount Ontake-san in central Japan erupted for the first time since 2007, sending climbers scrambling for safety and injuring at least 16 people. It left 250 climbers stranded and 7 unconscious. A few viral vids of the mountain was captured...

Mount Ontake (御嶽山 Ontake-san?), also referred to as Mount Kiso Ontake (木曽御嶽山 Kiso Ontake-san?), is the second highest volcano in Japan at 3,067 m (10,062 ft). (Webcam)
