COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State beat Cincinnati 50-28 Saturday night, but Anthony Schlegel was the biggest winner.
Ohio State coach Urban Meyer was appreciative of Anthony Schlegel's tackle (above) but he also talked to his staffer about it. (Adam Cairns, Columbus Dispatch) |
The former Ohio State linebacker, now an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Buckeyes, body slammed a fan who ran on the field during play, and the internet went crazy.
But what about the other guy, the guy flipped to the ground by the ex-Buckeye?
He's 21-year-old Anthony Wunder.
Franklin County Court records show that Wunder was charged with criminal trespass for running on the field and has an arraignment Tuesday morning. The Lantern, Ohio State's newspaper, reported that there is an Ohio State senior in the school directory listed by that name.
He's a mechanical engineering student. And electronic court documents show that the 6-foot-2, 180-pound Wunder is from .... Cincinnati.
