The helical model - our solar system is a vortex

DjSadhu says we've been viewing our solar system 'slightly' wrong all along. This is a more 'accurate' representation than the traditional 'flat' diagrams leading us to believe the sun is 'stationary' and shows us our solar system is actually a vortex travelling at extremely fast speeds through our Galaxy. 
This viral vid from 2012 is once again viralling which, by the way, has garnered not only lots of views on YouTube (over 2M), but also lots of criticisms...
