Google - Year in Search 2014

According to Google, we've searched trillions of times in 2014, not surprising being it's the most used search engine in the world, but in this vid, it tells us 'what' we search for - love and greatness, to name a few, and why by showing us what these searches say about us...

Fast Facts: 
  • A total of 2,873 athletes from 88 nations took part during the Winter Olympics in Sochi but US snowboarder Shaun White was the most searched athlete during the games.
  • Three of the top ten searches for 'ebola' were in Japanese, though the country had no reported contact with the virus. People around the world searched to know more as news gathered momentum.
  • Over 200 million searches have been made for 'mh370'and the world still wanted answers. But the world is refusing to give up as 14x more searches were made for 'mh370 found' than for 'mh370 lost.' - Explore more in the Year in Search here.
