Janicki Omniprocessor

Well if they can build it - he shall pay for it! A sewage treatment plant that is. A plant that turns human waste into clean drinking water PLUS electricity. Amazing! Meet the Omni Processor, the ingenious machine designed and built by Seattle-based engineering firm Janicki Bioenergy, and funded from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Bill Gates' opening statement in a blog states:

"I watched the piles of feces go up the conveyer belt and drop into a large bin. They made their way through the machine, getting boiled and treated. A few minutes later I took a long taste of the end result: a glass of delicious drinking water."
"The water tasted as good as any I've had out of a bottle," Gates also wrote on the blog. "Having studied the engineering behind it, I would happily drink it every day. It's that safe."

The short vid below shows his visit to the plant which explains how it all works...
