Badass First Lady Replies To President Obama’s #GimmeFive Challenge

We all know how much of a fitness freak Michelle Obama is. The First Lady of the United States (aka FLOTUS) started the 'Let's Move' movement five years ago as a way to combat child obesity while encouraging a healthy lifestyle in America. She has been seen many times showing off her fitness prowess:



Like the time she challenged Ellen DeGeneres to a push-up contest

And then cranked it up a notch with Jimmy Fallon a few months later


Well recently, on May 13th, the White House tweeted a video of President Obama congratulating his wife on the 5th anniversary of the movement. As a way of celebrating this anniversary, the First Lady challenged everyone across the country to #GimmeFive ways they are eating better, being more active, and leading a healthier life, and President Obama joined in by showing his five ways 'that even a President can stay active and healthy'.

The video shows President Obama and his workout partner Joe Biden, staying fit by jogging through the White House, taking the stairs, filling half their plates with fruits and veggies and holding meetings 'walk and talk' style instead of sitting through them. "So, that's me. What about you? Gimme Five, FLOTUS style," he says.




The video below is the First Lady's response to the Twitter challenge which she tweeted on Tuesday night showing her top five workout moves.
