DC SHOES: ROBBIE MADDISON'S "PIPE DREAM"

Loving the background sceneries. Stunt rider Robbie “Maddo” Maddison is making history as he rides his dirt bike on the powerful and iconic waves (yes, we said waves), of Tahiti in this viral vid that has already been viewed almost 10M times already.  It was part of a collaboration with DC Shoes called “Pipe Dream”...

The stunt took nearly two years of preparation and plenty of mental and physical training to perfect. While on location in Tahiti, it took 17 days to finally nail it, having a few miscalculations and not-so-pleasant crashes in between. At the end of the day, though, it made for one insanely badass video, and one of Maddison’s most extreme stunts to date.

“Riding the wave was the most challenging terrain I’ve ever taken a motorcycle on,” Maddison told GrindTV. “Every time there was a mechanical change in the bike, it changed the way it rode.”
