In January 2013, Schlitterbahn, Kansas City announced plans for the world's tallest and fastest water slide, Verrückt. Designed by Schlitterbahn co-owner, Jeff Henry, Verrückt is a four person raft slide with an uphill section. The initial drop is a 17-story plunge with a five story uphill section (also the tallest uphill water coaster section in the world). No exact height has been released yet, although the park claims it'll be taller then Niagara Falls and reach a maximum speed of 65 mph.
