Amazing Celtic Cross Discovered In Irish Forest

The story behind this impressive landmark growing in the middle of Donegal Forest, in Ireland, is just as impressive. The Celtic Cross which only becomes apparent in autumn when the tree leaves change colour has been described as a feat of horticultural engineering, one which must have taken some time and some very careful planning...

The "Emmery Celtic Cross" named after Liam Emmery, who planned the masterpiece out, planting two different types of trees 10 years ago. Liam sadly passed away 6 years ago without being able to see his creation grow and flourish. It was forgotten about since not many knew about it, however in the last year, passengers flying into Derry airport started to spot the cross. It is at least 400 feet in length and 150 feet wide and is truly a sight to behold.

World's Cheapest Hotel - Would You Stop Here?

What do you want for a night's stay which costs less than a chocolate bar...

Is this the world's cheapest hotel? Workers and tourists in Bangladesh can stay in this floating hotel for as little as 30p a night.

But as a night's stay at the hotel costs less than a bar of chocolate, the facilities aren't up to much.

Guests at the Faridpur Hotel in Dhaka do have access to free water and toilets during their stay - but they have to sleep alongside hundreds of other guests with only a small locker to keep their possessions in.

Astonishingly, the boats hotels are so popular they have been bringing in a roaring trade for more than 60 years.

Ithaa Undersea Restaurant

Great vid! Can you imagine eating here? Albeit, we were feeling pretty claustrophobic just watching it but hey!, maybe this amazing underwater restaurant is for you...

Ithaa, which means mother-of-pearl in Dhivehi, an undersea restaurant located 5 metres (16 ft) below sea level at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island in Alif Dhaal Atoll in the Republic of Maldives.

Here's a short clip of our amazing experience at Ithaa undersea restaurant at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island.

Jezreel Bago

The 5-by-9-metre (16 by 30 ft) mostly acrylic structure has a capacity of 14 people and is encased in R-Cast acrylic with a transparent roof offering a 270° panoramic underwater view. The restaurant was designed and constructed by M.J. Murphy Ltd – a design consultancy based in New Zealand – and was opened on in April 2005, describing itself as the world's first undersea restaurant. Food served in the restaurant has changed over the years and has more recently been described as contemporary European with Asian influences.

Ithaa's entrance is a spiral staircase in a thatched pavilion at the end of a jetty. The tsunami which followed the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake topped at 0.31 metres (1 ft 0 in) below the staircase entrance, and caused no damage to the restaurant.

Graved eggs? Never heard of those before and the Scotch eggs sure looked great! We were so entranced with the editing and presentation of this unique vid that it almost made us want to stop what we were doing and go start cracking some eggs...

This is a real gas station toilet. Seriously.

If only all gas station toilets could look (and smell), like this. The owner took great pride in creating this awesome washroom captured at the Shell gas station in Bohol, Philippines...

Verrückt in Kansas City

Coming soon... taller than Niagara Falls they claim - the world's tallest water slide at Schlitterbahn Kansas City Waterpark!
INSANITY at its best!

In January 2013, Schlitterbahn, Kansas City announced plans for the world's tallest and fastest water slide, Verrückt. Designed by Schlitterbahn co-owner, Jeff Henry, Verrückt is a four person raft slide with an uphill section. The initial drop is a 17-story plunge with a five story uphill section (also the tallest uphill water coaster section in the world). No exact height has been released yet, although the park claims it'll be taller then Niagara Falls and reach a maximum speed of 65 mph.

The newest POV of Verrückt at Kansas City Schlitterbahn. Set to be the World's tallest water slide riders we'll plunge down the steep slope in a four person raft for a thrill of a lifetime. Opening summer 2014!
