The story behind this impressive landmark growing in the middle of Donegal Forest, in Ireland, is just as impressive. The Celtic Cross which only becomes apparent in autumn when the tree leaves change colour has been described as a feat of horticultural engineering, one which must have taken some time and some very careful planning...
The "Emmery Celtic Cross" named after Liam Emmery, who planned the masterpiece out, planting two different types of trees 10 years ago. Liam sadly passed away 6 years ago without being able to see his creation grow and flourish. It was forgotten about since not many knew about it, however in the last year, passengers flying into Derry airport started to spot the cross. It is at least 400 feet in length and 150 feet wide and is truly a sight to behold.
A guy ordered some chicken wings and got more than just the wings in his order - he got the head of a chicken too!
The whole head appears to have been deep fried.
The publisher of the video claims the sickening incident took place in a “Quick” fast-food restaurant in France.
What a find! And all because some hunters were originally searching for other (big money) find – woolly mammoth tusks.

Five years ago, some hunters stumbled upon a tiny snout of a puppy that had been frozen in ice since the Pleistocene era – the time period (that began about 1.8 million years ago and lasted until about 11,700 years ago) where the most recent Ice Age occurred. Through that discovery, Russian scientists came upon another puppy in 2015 which they concluded both were probably siblings killed in a landslide on a steep riverbank, sealed in the permafrost and essentially mummified for more than 12,400 years.
Every part of the second puppy was intact and well preserved – including the brain, said to be the first-ever well preserved brain of a Pleistocene canid. The team of scientists who gathered in the Yakutia region in Russia, near the finds, to examine the puppy closer discovered it wasn’t just a mere fossil.

Whether they were wolf or dog pups is unclear. But Fyodorov said the remains of mammoths that may have been butchered and burned were found nearby, which could mean humans were there, too. Source(s): washingtonpost | siberiantimes
Well, we just wanted to hear and see the live announcement about the breaking discovery of liquid water they recently found on Mars that has everyone talking, but if you care to watch the rest about the world leaders - go ahead!
Scientists reported on Monday definitive signs of liquid water on the surface of present-day Mars, a finding that will fuel speculation that life, if it ever arose there, could persist to now.
We read about this (and we're sure you've all heard by now), about the fascinating discovery last week when a new species of human, Homo naledi (naledi meaning “star” in the Sotho language), was discovered in South Africa's Rising Star cave system - about 30 miles northwest of Johannesburg in an area so tight that 'skinny scientists' aka 'underground astronauts' had to be used. (See 2nd video). Over 1,500 fossil remains were found by paleoanthropologist Lee Berger and his team who says, "It absolutely questions what makes us human. And I don't think we know anymore what does." To put the find in perspective, he states, "This is like opening up Tutankhamen's tomb. It is that extreme and perhaps that influential in this stage of our history."At present, the team has yet to date Homo naledi's fossils, but think of the questions when they do...
Within a deep and narrow cave in South Africa, paleoanthropologist Lee Berger and his team found fossil remains belonging to the newest member of our human family. The Homo naledi discovery adds another exciting chapter to the human evolution story by introducing an ancestor that was primitive but shared physical characteristics with modern humans.
Because the cave system where the bones were located was extremely difficult to access, it could be speculated that these hominins practiced a behavior previously believed to be modern: that of deliberately disposing of their dead underground.
That's right. A baby seal pup was found, in, of all places, among a herd of cows in a field in Lincolnshire, England who were probably just as surprise and curious to see the little seal pup as we were. The second vid is a follow-up on how the baby seal, named 'Celebration' is doing...
If you haven't heard by now, in the scientific world, a cute little octopus was discovered. Actually, he was discovered a while back but now they want to name it something adorable... say, for instance, Opisthoteuthis adorabilis Everyone's saying this pink, fist-sized octopus is a cross between the ghost from the Pac-Man video game and a Pokemon creature. What do you think? Would you believe scientists have been collecting samples of this type of a flapjack octopus since 1990, yet little is still known about them - probably because they live between 200 and 600 metres down deep into the waters where temps are only a mere 6 degrees Celsius. Watch the video below to learn more...
Isn't that how they're usually discovered, lol. But oh this one is soooo cute! These newly discovered carnivores were stumbled upon by accident - literally (someone almost stepped on one), and are quite fascinating. They only come out at night and are not only monogamous but their babies are born with fur and "ready to run"!
