11-Year-Old Girl 'Allergic' to Sunlight | ABC News

As we complain about the heat and the sun, let's be grateful we can be out in it. There's one little girl named Savannah Fulkerson who suffers from a rare condition called Erythropoietic Protoporphyria, which makes her allergic to sunlight that results in excruciating pain if exposed to it for a short time, or as she described "... like lava was being poured on me."
