Speaking of Pluto, the following videos will explain to you what all the fuss is about...

On 14 July 2015, the New Horizons spacecraft became the first spacecraft to fly by Pluto. Little was known about Pluto since it was so far away from Earth, until recently. New Horizons' brief moment with Pluto is a big deal for many as it has marked an historic moment in space exploration - for the first time in a generation since the Voyager 2 probe whizzed past Neptune in 1989, we are able to see an entirely new world. It will also be our last as New York Times writer, Dennis Overbye puts it, "None of us alive today will see a new planet up close for the first time again."

Thanks to NASA, we never knew what Pluto really looked like - until now.

The dwarf-planet with the heart-shaped marking taken from a distance of 450,000 kilometers (280,000 miles). Four images from New Horizons’ Long Range Reconnaissance Imager (LORRI) were combined with color data from the Ralph instrument to create this global view of Pluto.

The dwarf planet Pluto is seen in true color in this stunning four-image mosaic created by photos from NASA's New Horizons spacecraft during the probe's historic flyby in July 2015. NASA unveiled the image on July 24.
