Wearing a blue mini dress, this popular Mexican artist, 42-year-old Patricia Navidad, didn't even flinch when a sanitary pad fell out from between her legs while performing...

The singer was performing live on the morning TV show Despierta America – which translates as Wake Up America – when the incident happened.

A clip has gone viral in South America.

Patricia said in a tweet: "I want to make it clear that I never threw or would throw the pad.

"It fell by itself through a very sophisticated tunnel! Thank you, I love you."

Then she added: "This is not something I should be ashamed of or be mocked for.

"But while judging, bullying and pointing at me you forget you are not what you say you are."
