Salmon Crossing Flooded Road in Washington, USA (2 Videos)

Why did the salmon cross the road? To get to the other side - of the river.
Amazing. If this keeps up they'll need to put up a 'Salmon Crossing' sign. You can truly appreciate the strength and tenacity of these fish species after watching this...

This video was taken in November 2016 on the Skykomish Valley Road near Seattle, WA. Due to high rainfall, the river had burst its banks and was flooding over fields and roads. Migrating salmon - returning from a life in the ocean - seek the lower flow streams to spawn and die. These are following the stream wherever it goes - using great effort to overcome obstacles including roads.

Washington, D.C. has ticketed and towed many cars since the Jonas blizzard. The conditions made it difficult for people to follow normal parking rules. The city used the opportunity to pillage its residents. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian, hosts of the The Young Turks, break it down.

Capitol Hill Cold Open - Saturday Night Live

Lol. It's Saturday Night Live (SNL) taking on Washington and presidential executive orders spoofing the favourite, "I'm Just A Bill" segment, starring Kenan Thompson as 'the bill', Bobby Moynihan as 'the executive order' and Jay Pharaoh as 'President Obama'. Keenan Thompson explains that he's an immigration bill that "one day might become a law." But then Obama shows up shoving poor Bill down the steps of Capital Hill...
