VIDEO: Jailed Canadian Terrorist, Carlos Larmond, Gets a Beating Inside Ottawa Jail After Trying to Convert Inmates to Islam
Well, that's what you get for trying to convert someone who doesn't want to be converted. This recently released video by Canadian officials shows Carlos Larmond, a man facing terrorism related charges, being beaten up by two other inmates...
According to the Ottawa Citizen, the incident happened six months ago – in March 2015 and was released by officials after the clip was shown in an Ottawa courtroom. One of the attackers identified as Terrence Wilson, 24, pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily harm. He was fined $13 and sentenced to 60 days in jail. Larmond, also 24, was attacked after he allegedly threatened Wilson for refusing to convert to Islam.

“To hell with Bruce Willis!": Stephen Colbert celebrates Kevin Vickers
American TV host and comedian, Stephen Colbert, dedicated his entire show to praising Canadian Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers, the hero responsible for taking down gunman, Michael Zehaf Bibeau, in the Ottawa shooting...
He’s been called “Canada’s New National Hero” by the Washington Post. He’s made the front page of the Wall Street Journal.
Now the sergeant-at-arms of Canada’s House of Commons has received perhaps an even rarer celebrity distinction in the United States: praise from a late-night TV comedian.
Stephen Colbert, better known for his roasting than his toasting, dedicated an entire segment of Wednesday night’s Colbert Report show to a tribute of Kevin Vickers, whose intervention helped end last week’s Ottawa shooting.

Coming together as one - Canadian fans in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto singing “O Canada” in unison to pay their respects and honour those affected by the recent tragedies in Canada, as seen in this viralling vid by NHL...
As Ottawa owner Eugene Melnyk said on Friday: what doesn’t break us, makes us stronger. Today our country stands more united than ever and so does the entire NHL family. We are very pleased to join forces with the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs in coordinating a unique and special tribute prior our game on Saturday in honour and recognition of these two brave soldiers, their families and all members of our Canadian military.”
