A 19-year-old woman in Hassan, Karnataka has given birth to a baby girl weighing 6.8 kg, possibly the ‘heaviest baby at birth’ in India.
The mother Nandini, who goes only by her initial name and her husband Arun, welcomed their first child by caesarean section on Monday evening at a government-run hospital.
