Baseball Sliced in Half at Nearly 100 miles per hour!
Hey! It's Japanese master swordsman, Isao Machii. Remember his last vid? He's back with another stunt which involves slicing a baseball in half from a pitching machine! (Slow-mo replay at the end)...
In the video, Machii waits on a tatami mat-covered platform, just over 30 feet from the baseball pitching machine, before drawing his blade and cutting the pitched ball cleanly in half, with what seems to be an almost laser-like precision.

Little Boy Stops Game to Say I Love You to Coach
That was the most adorable thing ever. This little one was trying to get in a possible home run when he stopped before getting to second base to say "I love you" to his coach before continuing on... because, you know, there's never a wrong time to say so...

Batter Hits Home Run on Backward Swing . Surprise
A backwards swing you say? Never heard of the kind. A home run on one? Wow. This is probably the weirdest home run we've ever seen in baseball...
Renaud Lefort, the batter, set up to hit right-handed for Montreal's Les 4 Chevaliers. However, he stood in the left-handed batter's box, meaning that his back was to the plate.
It seems a batting stance like that would make it impossible to make contact with the pitch, right?
Well, not only did he manage to put the bat on the ball, but he hit the ball out of the park. With that, he slugged what has to be the craziest three-run homer ever.. Surprise.

滑川総合 馬場優治選手(3年夏)/ Fantastic Highschool Baseball Player
Lol. We'd probably watch more baseball games if they were this entertaining. The baseball player was the star but we were just as entertained, by the 'motivational' music of choice from the band players - "We Will Rock You," by Queen, at this high school baseball game in Japan...

Squirrel at Phillies Game
This squirrel brightened up an otherwise somber game between the Philadelphia Phillies who was losing to the St. Louis Cardinals Friday night and apparently thought enough was enough after Phillippe Aumont, the Phillies starting pitcher, gave up four earned runs in the second inning of the game and decided it was time to leave. ![]() |
| A squirrel plummeted 30 feet into the Phillies' dugout and onto Chase Utley during Friday night's game against the Cardinals. |
He went across a wire holding up a net then made an almost 30-ft leap into the Phillies' dugout , awing the crowd in the process...
