Gotye - Somebody That I Used to Know - Old School Computer Remix

Wow, not bad.  Not bad at all.  Gotye's song gets an old school makeover.  We like! We like!

HP Scanjet 3C as the vocals. It lags a bit due to the fast paced vocals. In order for the stepper motor to play a note it has to be moving and with that large carriage it takes a few milli seconds before it can play a note. It doesn't sound like a lot of time but stretch that over a 4 minute song and voila...out of sync. Programming does help to compensate but it is not perfect.
Amiga 600 Bass on left audio output and Guitar on right audio output
Each audio channel was feed into an oscilloscope
2 Harddrives as the drums and cymbal
Xylophone as the Xylophone (duh) my apologies glockenspiel
Both the Harddrive and Xylophone are controlled by one PIC16F84A mircocontroller

thanks to A1- Electronics Parts (Toronto) for the great deals on all those old parts that are getting harder to find.

Some Music That I Used To Love - Gotye Parody

Hahaha, great vid on that Gotye song..

Let's hope this parody is the one that ends all parodies of this song!
(Yeah, right)

The ultimate break-up song gets dumped! Smooth-E tries to end his relationship with the incessant Gotye song "Somebody That I Used to Know."

That Gotye Song

Lol.  It started off a bit slow.. but then got better.  And, we have to agree when they say it's "Something we've all done."  We just wished they would have turned Left once in awhile, lol.

Something we've all done.
