This video of a bride trying to resuscitate a man who drowned has been viralling. The young nurse is being named the 'prettiest bride' by Chinese media ...
Guo Yuanyuan, 25, was shooting her wedding photos on a beach in Dalian, north east China, when she heard a man had drowned, reported People's Daily Online.
She rushed to the scene and tried to resuscitate the man. Unfortunately, despite her best efforts, he eventually died.
After the man, who was spotted in distress, was rescued by onlookers, he was already unconscious and seemed to have suffered a heart attack. No one knew how to perform CPR.
About 100 feet away, Guo Yuanyuan, who was a cardiac nurse at a local hospital, happened to be shooting her wedding photographs on the same beach.
Without thinking, she jumped off a three foot ledge and rushed to the scene while still wearing her wedding gown.
She then proceeded to perform CPR on the man as well as giving him mouth to mouth resuscitation for over 20 minutes. In the process of saving the man, Guo had ruined her wedding dress, spoilt her make-up and broke her nails.
Despite her sorry state, witnesses applauded the nurse's determination.
We're guessing the driver of this truck from Saudi Arabia forgot the container was up when he crashed it through a highway sign - something we don't see too often here, thank goodness!...
Everyone's feeling guilty for laughing at six-year-old Maisie Gregory who was accidentally hit in the face by a saluting soldier after she presented a bunch of flowers to the Queen during Her Majesty's visit to Cardiff, Wales, but we're sure she's ok...
"S45 please state your location, over." S45: "I'm in a hole someplace between 5th and main, over."
Good thing that hole wasn't a bottomless pit. Thankfully, the police officer was not hurt in this freak accident when a sinkhole opened up and swallowed a police in his SUV in Sheridan, Colorado. The police managed to crawl out of this 10 to 15 feet-deep hole, and was treated at the hospital and released...
Whoa! Poor fella! That's ROAD paint. That can't be easy to get off?
A truck carrying yellow paint for marking the roads, was hit from behind by another driver while heading down Russia's M-4 "Don" highway splattering yellow paint EVERYWHERE including on the trucks, road and one of the drivers, and it all made for a really colourful scene.
Both drivers were taken to hospital and found to be ok.
In the meantime, let's check out and admire this golden-mustard-daffodil scene for a few moments, because you know we probably won't see something like this anytime soon again.
The video footage below was captured after the accident.
A lot are blaming the mom for being careless and not being more observant when her toddler ran out onto the sidewalk and got it and dragged by a cyclist. Thankfully, everyone is ok...
It's getting harder and harder nowadays to distinguish between reality and modern art. A lot thought this crane-toppled-atop-a-building (an art museum building nevertheless), was a fine piece of artwork display until they discovered it wasn't one...
Whoa! It's like a war zone with all those fireworks going off at the same time in this vid from Italy. They said no one was injured and it looked worse than it actually was! Amen! At least it made for some great fireworks show!...
We're not sure how this was even possible for two huge vessels to collide in a vast space such as the ocean, but it was captured on camera as seen in this viral vid by PoliceInPortsaid. The action starts around 2 mins into the vid...
